Polyplastic safety campaign

Polyplastic windows from the 04.23 series from the production years 1998 to 2006 were partly subject to a security campaign that has now been completed. The vehicle manufacturers, Crack-Ex as a partner of Polyplastic or independent caravan workshops screwed or replaced the affected windows. The security operation has been over for several years.

In the affected vehicles, the bond between the inner and outer windows could dissolve under the influence of sunlight (UV light). The safety measure became necessary because in some cases the outer window came off while driving.

In many cases we can still supply replacement windows. Unfortunately, there is no goodwill from the manufacturers. We will gladly make you an offer.
